Introduction of IDEAL STEP FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND IDEAL CRAFTS

Hi Sir/Madam,

Cordial greetings from IDEAL STEP FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT & IDEAL CRAFTS Dhaka, Bangladesh.

I hope you are fine and doing good. Since 2015 to till now I am leading this National NGO as CEO. This is a very optimistic, more transparent and accountable humanitarian development organization and tried to establish especially Child & Women with Disabilities Rights, Protection and Development mainstream inclusion in Bangladesh. Our Board is very dedicated and all from development sectors and very passionate about the well being of the excluded people in Bangladesh.

It is my pleasure to share some important issues about our organizations in detail as follows ;

Ideal Step for Sustainable Development is a transformational sustainable humanitarian responsive and livelihood development rights-based non-government registered organization in Bangladesh and it started its the journey from 1999, a district of Mymensingh in Bangladesh. It is working to promote equal opportunity and full participation of the marginalized people in Bangladesh.

Very initially we realized to upgrade the helpless divorces, widow and marginalized women's skills development and job creation and Children's Health, Education, Recreational Development that make their family life healthy and enjoyable.

On the basis of current needs and priority, we are extending the initiative to keep it up as functional with adding more vital issues in the light of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Now the focus has been highlighted stronger to ensure its core updated values Rights Respected and People Protected and where No One Leave Behind, where emphasized Child with Disabilities inclusive education, health and mental recreation, Poverty Reduction, Livelihoods Development through social business engagement, Internally Displaced People's humanitarian sustainable transformational development, Good Governance, Disaster & Climate Resilience and Earth Quake preparedness with preventive measures as well as resilience.

For 16 years, we have been supporting the disadvantaged people in many different ways, to reflect what they tell us they want.

We make a difference in the lives of thousands of people by supporting them to develop skills through employment, volunteering, and inclusion.

We campaign alongside disabled people to bring about changes for the better, and to challenge ignorance and unfairness in society.

We work for a society in which every person is equally valued. We believe all people should have the freedom to live their lives the way they choose. To have the opportunity and support to live independently, to contribute and participate fully in society.

That belief is at the heart of everything we do.

Another key focus is to do the Advocacy Campaign as well as Good Governance.

We are interested to work in collaboration with local and overseas agencies which links to our key focus areas.

There is a huge scope to work for the Livelihood Development for the disadvantaged, IDPs, Challenged disabled men, women, and children in Bangladesh. Currently, we are focusing on disabled children's education, health, skill development, safety, protection, and rights.

The ISSD's key focus was for empowering the women in the critical situations, street children education with health care, human rights & justice, good governance and humanitarian development with poverty reduction as well as crucial emergency humanitarian responsive initiatives during a disaster, climate change, earth quake-current key need.

We are raising our voice to establish physically challenged people ( Men, Women, and Children) Rights, Protection, Justice in terms of emphasis on Livelihoods and Job inclusion with the government as well as other corporate agencies.

So, towards this important addressing for the humanitarian support and development, we need to render our best cooperation to the disadvantaged people in Bangladesh.

In humanity's ground, we are seeking possible cooperation and support for sustainable transformational humanitarian development to continue our endeavor for the well being of the vulnerable People. Without additional support, it may not possible to continue these efforts for longer.

Functional field operation of Ideal Step for Sustainable Development is as the following areas ;

Dhaka ( Tongi, Savar), Mymensingh (Sadar, Netrokona, Muktagacha), Tangail, Sirajganj, Gaibandha, Dinajpur and also basis of need.

We observed a number of disabled children are struggling in different parts of Bangladesh. We tried to extend our efforts for them and seeking your cordial support to longer our services.

After inception, the key funding was an Australian World Aid ( Australia), Bangladesh Freedom Foundation ( Local Agencies fund) and Mennonite Central Committee (MCC-US based Dhaka operational agencies). But due to our limited financial resources, gradually we are facing problem to maintain our services smoothly.

Recently we have introduced a new concern as IDEAL CRAFTS of Handicrafts The component in terms to empower women and excluded poor/vulnerable adolescent skills development through job creation and try to promote the products to sell in the overseas country market as well as explore artisans and their group development. Already we got Export License.

As your reference, please find a profile to know more about us. Also please find some product images which are made by local environment-friendly materials ( Wild fiber-Jute, Grass, Cane, Bamboo, wastage cotton from RMG, Hogla). You may help us to promote this product that is very useful in the household. I sincerely invite you to visit my place. We also do floor rugs/carpet by the Jute and Cotton and this is made by Women with Disabilities.

However, I sincerely appreciate your cordial cooperation to explore the scope to work together. As your kind concern, under Women Skills Development & Economic Sustainability program, we may skill development of our beneficiaries that case we may train them to produce handicrafts products and later may promote in the overseas market.

Among all producers, we have women with disabilities producers who have the capability to work. That case we trained them on Handicrafts Product producing and later on promote their goods in the overseas market.

We are sincerely interested to work with you as collaboration from Dhaka Bangladesh and suggest me move ahead. If you have a scope, I invite you to visit us. You may add us with your donors as a partner from Bangladesh. Because till now, Bangladeshi Persons with Disability people suffering much and not adequate assistance as a minimum. Somehow, I am seeking your supportive cooperation.
