Throughout his election campaign, Jair Bolsonaro presented himself as an anti-system candidate, ready to radically reform the country. His rise to power was marked by an active and authoritarian presidentialism. With almost no sector of society spared, the succession of presidential measures, decrees and declarations that followed his inauguration prompted us to draw up an initial assessment. Nearly 3 months after his rise to power, the main points of his policy are apparent: militarization, neoliberal opening and closing the dialogue between civil society and the government.
