“There is neither a developed nor an underdeveloped world, but a single, poorly developed one.”
This was the prevailing conviction for the founding of the Centre Europe – Tiers Monde (CETIM) in Geneva in 1970 as a centre for learning, research and information about the mechanisms at the root of poor development. CETIM is a publishing house unlike any other, an organisation in the UN that actively supports social movements, especially in the field of cultural, social and economic rights. CETIM also runs a specialised resource centre.
