The Collective for Global Social Transition grew out of the 2016 World Social Forum.

In the continuity of its action in the Social Forum and in the spirit of the WSF Charter of Principles, the Collective mission is to contribute to the creation, consolidation and convergence of civil society networks from the local to the global level, in order to make a transition towards a just, united and green world.

As project facilitator, the Collective promotes a climate of mutual support that allows initiatives to be mutually reinforced, while encouraging the empowerment and responsibility of project leaders.
