Focus on the Global South is an alterglobalist organisation who develops and spread analysis, propositions, and informations in order to promote social and ecological sustainability of our societies. On the other hand it multiplies advocacy and helps the organization of grassroots actions, primarily in South Asian countries.

Since its foundation in 1995, Focus on the Global South has developed research projects and action campaigns in Thailand (its headquarter is located in Bangkok), in India (from its desk in New Delhi) and in the Philipines (from its desk in Manila).
