As a committed and resolutely anti-nationalist media, Le Courrier des Balkans pays particular attention to social and environmental issues, the rights of women and minorities, economic and energy transition, and innovative solutions. Without forgetting the issues that still threaten the future of these countries, such as the retreat of the rule of law, corruption or organised crime, on which our team produces, publishes and relays to the French-speaking public reports and surveys never before published in French.

Created in 1998, the Courrier des Balkans has developed as a site seeking to make known, in French, the information and analyses of the democratic press in the countries of South-Eastern Europe (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldavia, Greece and Turkey).
