SOS Racismo is a social movement for equal rights, with an assembly structure, independent and multi-ethnic, where all those who are willing to actively oppose racism and xenophobia can engage.

The association SOS Racismo - Bizkaiko SOS Arrazakeria was created in February 1992. It grew out of a platform created the previous year to fight for the integration of immigrants and people belonging to ethnic minorities in our society. Since then, we have continued this work.

We understand racism to mean any discrimination or segregation, whether individual, collective or institutional, based on skin colour, origin or membership of an ethnic minority. We believe that discriminatory racist and xenophobic actions constitute an attack on the dignity and equal rights of individuals. They must therefore be prevented and eliminated if we are to build a more just and equitable society.
