How many years away are we from another world war? (...) In 1932, the League of Nations’ International Institute for Intellectual Cooperation called on intellectuals to exchange views on "the problems facing civilization". One of the first intellectuals contacted was Albert Einstein, who chose Sigmund Freud as his interlocutor. In his letter, Einstein chose the problem of war and posed a number of questions. Is it possible to rid humanity of the threat of war?
