The American "Peace Plan" for Palestine seeks to transform the accumulated changes on the ground into a new temporal turning point from which it would be difficult to return. It attempts, in fact, to impose a new platform on the whole Palestinian question - what Trump calls the "basis for direct negotiations" - in order to replace the fragile and now inoperative two-state solution.
