The ICDR is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit social service organization, of which one of the primary objectives is to provide low- and/or no-cost immigration legal services to low-income and indigent communities in need of such assistance within the United States under the 8 C.F.R. We will provide immigration legal services that are free or low-cost primarily to low-income and indigent clients within the United States under the 8 C.F.R. § 1292.11(a)(1), (b) after the approval of the ICDR’s Recognition and Accreditation from the U.S. Department of Justice/EOIR/OLAP. We’ve applied for DOJ Recognition and Accreditation to be authorized to provide immigration legal services (DOJ R&A is in the review process).

The ICDR has built visibility and credibility through networking, collaboration, and outreach activities in order to sustain and expand our services. Please click here to see our services.

We coordinate with attorneys and staff attorneys through affiliate or partner organizations, such as USCRI and VLNDC, to which we will refer our clients on complex immigration matters. Our law graduates and interns/volunteers help the organization to expand our program’s capacity. These law graduates with immigration experience assist us with research, advocacy, and educational activities supporting our social service.
