Bangladesh Krishok Federation (BKF), a group devoted to landless peasants since 1976, and Bangladesh Kishani Sabha (BKS), a female counterpart to the Krishok Federation established in 1990, have been working together for the rights of landless people in Bangladesh through occupations, demonstrations, and legal aid service.

Moreover, Bangladesh Krishok Federation is a grass root and nationwide peasant’s organization representing two millions members all over the country. It is countering capitalist and imperialist system fighting against neo-liberal economic model and corporate globalization for the emancipation of the peasantry on the whole. It is developing a hegemonic atmosphere that revamps the revolutionary change in society.
In Bangladesh 70% of the population of 160 million are considered “landless.” BKF has been working for nearly 41 years on securing right for peasants, agricultural workers and landless people.
